Alongside Women Veterans Outreach is a non profit organization distinctly focused on helping women learn to manage stress, depression, anxiety and adrenaline in a safe place, filled with the perspective of others that have similar story filled lives.

Our Part In The Project
All groups will have a volunteer lead for outdoor activities, as well as a first aid qualified individual and a knowledgeable trails guide.
Transportation from the point of the event, food and lodging (tent, lodge, cabin) may be provided by Alongside and our benefactors.
A gear list and a schedule will be emailed during your prep phase after you have applied for your event. The opportunity to meet your leads will happen at Madison River Brewery and be announced via email and our socials.
Alongside Women Veterans Outreach/Project is not therapy and we do not provide any counseling or treatment for PTSD or any other trauma related feelings. Please use resources listed below if you are feeling depressed , suicidal or any other feelings of uncontrollable anxiety.
Free (even if you are at zero disability or a spouse of a veteran) resources are available to seek both personal and private ways assistance.

From The Founder,
When Alongside WVO came to fruition in April 2024 we were established for the female combat veteran. Since that short time, I myself came to the realization that there was an extremely important group of women that could not be omitted. The spouses of these Soldiers, Sailors, Marines and Airmen. The First Responder Women and the wives of First Responders. We Have More In Common Than We Don’t.
Children of The Iraq and Afghanistan 9/11 deployment era, We See You, you are our priority launching April 2026!
