FAQs

WHAT GEAR DO I HAVE TO BRING?

Personal clothing (recommended materials will be on your checklist), a water bottle and your personal hygiene

WHAT KIND OF SHAPE DO I NEED TO BE IN?

We ask that you come fit for the task you signed up to participate in. We will be able to partner people with their abilities and skill levels but you can help us by letting us know about your personal strengths during the zoom/conference calls prior to attendance.

Biking, hiking and skiing are rigorous activities when performed throughout an entire day and this is a possibility!

If these don’t fit your lifestyle try out one of our fencing or archery clinics!

I'VE NEVER SKI’D BEFORE, CAN I STILL ATTEND THAT PROJECT?

ABSOLUTELY, if you've never skied before in a forest and are learning a new skill this is the mental challenge that would suit you perfectly.

WHEN WILL I REST?

Overnight events don’t happen as often due to cost and volunteer availability. If you attend one of these they end with a camp side fire and shared meal.

No matter which challenge or adventure you choose you will be alongside someone else navigating similar feelings and seeking the same results.

We encourage you to look at the schedule and decide what you need.

It is our hope that you attend a one day clinic and learn something new that you can’t wait to do on your own. And if you don’t, well your bucket list just got shorter!

Do I have to volunteer afterwards?

Nope! the opportunity to serve others is not an obligation . while we are hoping for full circle we do not demand it. We want. you to want to be here! Opportunity not obligation!
